High Tea with the Deputy President

The delegation will report on progress made during their trip to the UK and the gains achieved by the President’s trips to China and the US. They will also provide insights into their perception of the UK and global business community’s interest in South Africa and the real level of FDI that is likely to flow into the country as a result. We will hear about the steps being taken to make South Africa genuinely “open for business” and plans to reduce red tape, travel restrictions and business complexities that inhibit investment.

This rare opportunity to entertain a senior level visit is welcomed at this time of “renew and refresh” referenced by Cyril Ramaphosa in his speech in New York on Monday, 23rd September, which he described as a broad process of reform to change South Africa.
