Summer Drinks

Join us for a vibrant evening of Summer Drinks on Tuesday, 22 July 2025, at the stunning offices of Simmons & Simmons, from their Citypoint venue in the heart of London. Hosted in collaboration with the SA-UK Trust Network, this event offers a unique opportunity to network with fellow professionals, South African business leaders, and supporters of social impact across Southern Africa.

Enjoy drinks, conversation, and thought-provoking insights from speakers including Daniel Leader of Leigh Day, who will discuss the importance of nurturing diverse legal talent through partnerships like that with Canon Collins Trust. We’ll also hear from Keith Holdt, Chair of the Trust, who will give a brief introduction to the Canon Collins Trust - its roots in the anti-apartheid movement, its mission to build ethical, impactful leadership in Southern Africa, and the transformative power of postgraduate education to shape a better future for the region.  Nobantu Mbeki, an inspiring scholar and academic, will share her personal journey and the life-changing role of postgraduate education in Southern Africa.

Whether you're a member or new to the Chamber, this is a fantastic chance to connect, support meaningful causes, and enjoy the best of the South African business community in the UK.

The SA-UK Trust Network enables a forum where representatives of UK-based Trusts and Charities, supporting their southern and South African partner organisations, can interact and further their common purpose: the development and upliftment of southern and South Africa.
