Ubuntu Global Networking Webinar

Join us for our monthly Ubuntu Virtual Global Networking event on Thursday 27th November 2025, 12:00 UK time.

Attending our monthly global networking event, on the last Thursday of each month, not only provides a valuable platform to connect with professionals from diverse industries but also embraces the spirit of ubuntu, a fundamental philosophy deeply rooted in South African culture.

We’ll be hosting two dynamic networking sessions during the webinar, where attendees can connect across industries, share knowledge, and exchange ideas.

Ubuntu emphasizes the interconnectedness and importance of community, fostering a sense of togetherness and collaboration.

Our virtual networking events offer numerous benefits such as:
•   Expanding professional connections, in the UK and SA
•   Knowledge sharing
•   Exchanging ideas and business challenges
•   Unlocking career opportunities
•   Enhancing visibility
•   Fostering a sense of emotional support and camaraderie

Our speaker will be Brent Lindeque of South Africa's Good Things Guy, in conversation with Tania.

Brent Lindeque, South Africa's Good Things Guy, is a dynamic advocate for positive change and the founder of the country’s top good news platform.

A decade ago, Brent’s simple act of kindness (changing the Neknomination craze to RAKnomination) went viral around the world, sparking a journey that would lead to the creation of Good Things Guy, a space dedicated to stories of hope, resilience, and inspiration.

His platform celebrates the everyday heroes and powerful narratives that embody the best of humanity, making good news accessible and relatable to all. The reach via the website, social media and various electronic billboards around South Africa is well over 30 million.

Beyond his work in media, radio and television, Brent is passionate about charity and has participated in numerous charitable efforts, including an inspiring climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. His dedication to uplifting others recently earned him an invitation to join an exclusive lunch with Oprah, alongside three other South African journalists, for an intimate discussion.

Voted as one of the top 5 South Africans for 2024, has one of the top 15 podcasts in the country, named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Young South Africans by Mail & Guardian, a GQ Man of the Year, and recognised on the World’s Top 100 Innovation Success Stories list, Brent continues to inspire South Africans with kindness.

Participation is free, but registration is essential. Zoom links will be sent out in the 24 hours prior to the event.
