The Funding Network (TFN) is delighted to invite you to a gathering: Democracy Three Decades On, on Monday 4 November. When Nelson Mandela was elected president in 1994, the system of legislated discrimination ended and democracy took its place. However, South Africa remains among the most unequal societies in the world, with extremely high unemployment and poverty rates. The vibrant non-profit sector does a lot with a little – but the challenges are immense. The SA-UK Trust Network is proud to partner with TFN in organising this event to raise support for three South African non-profits. This will be a fun, engaging and impactful evening!
