KZN Trade & Investment Trade Mission to London 27 February 2026

It was a pleasure partnering with Durban Direct, KwaZulu-Natal Trade & Investment and KZN Tourism & Film Authority as part of their in-country activation mission to London.

KwaZulu-Natal is an economic powerhouse. Their robust economy, strategic infrastructure, and skilled workforce drive unprecedented growth, making KZN a compelling choice for discerning investors. The 2nd largest regional economy in South Africa and 2 of the busiest ports in Africa handling 80% of SAs seaborne exports. It also boasts 2 special economic zones, Dube Tradeport and Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone.

The diversity of KZN as a tourism is impressive. From the Drakensburg mountains to game parks, to historical battlefields, to Zulu culture, beaches, sea-based adventures, KZN caters for every taste. It also boasts a number of world heritage sites.

Thank you to the University of Westminster and Professor Winston Mano for hosting the day.

Thank you to His Excellency Mamabolo the SA High Commissioner to London, Sihle Ngcamu, Head of delegation and Farrah Goolam, Programme director and all of the speakers Keith Matthews, Ntombenhie Dlamini, from the mission, Sello Thornton from sponsors Mukuru Financial Services and Dennis Zietsman from the SA Chamber UK.
