 Pieter-Dirk Uys' Evita Bezuidenhout is still hailed as the most famous white woman in South Africa. After a few lifetimes in the whirlpools of local politics, she has swung from separate developist to designer democrat. Now a member of the ruling African National Congress, Mrs Bezuidenhout is in the kitchen of Luthuli House where she cooks for reconciliation. She will clarify where South Africa is today, where Great Britain was yesterday and where the European Union will be in future without the UK.
