South Africa’s Year of Leadership: G20 and B20 in Turbulent Times

We are excited to invite you and many of our fellow G20 country chambers in London to a conversation with Dr Anthony Costa who is B20 Secretariat Head for South Africa’s Presidency this year.

The Business 20 (B20) connects the business community with G20 governments. The group includes around 900 business representatives and proposes to the G20 policy recommendations prepared by task forces meeting virtually over the presidential term.

We will be discussing the B20 process and how it is working and feeding in businesses’ views around the 20 countries, on global challenges, into the leaders in November, the research going on in the B20 working groups and how South Africa through its leadership of G20 and B20 has a key role in a volatile and uncertain world. We will also explore the future of multilateralism as SA hands over the mantle of the G20/B20 to the US at the end of this year, having received it from Brazil last year.
