Born in South Africa with a Danish/German heritage, Svend has a natural interest in cross cultural issues. Having lived in a number of countries and now in London for almost 25 years, he has built his career around cross border trade. He successfully founded his own firm dealing with companies and their international expansion. Known for his ability to connect people and create meaningful opportunities, he has a strong commitment to making a positive impact.
As the CEO of the Chamber, Svend is dedicated to strengthening ties between SA and the UK. He will focus on enhancing the Chamber’s influence, particularly in supporting SMEs, cross-border trade, and driving investment opportunities.
