Ubuntu Global Networking Webinar June
Join us for our monthly Ubuntu Global Networking event on Thursday 25 June, 12:00 – 13:00 UK time.
South African Chambers from across the globe have joined forces to create the International Association of South African Chambers of Commerce (IASACC). IASACC has been in existence 2 years, we currently have 14 South African Chambers (Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, New Zealand, Singapore, Mauritius, UAE, Germany, UK, Ireland, USA, Peru, Chile) that talk regularly and share ideas, thoughts and insights across what we do for our South African communities living abroad.
IASACC and SA Chamber UK will co-host their Ubuntu Virtual Global Networking event on a quarterly basis. This opportunity and will be giving members of the SA Chambers the ability to connect with each other across the world and help build their global networks.
Attending these global networking events, not only provides a valuable platform to connect with professionals from diverse industries but also embraces the spirit of ubuntu, a fundamental philosophy deeply rooted in South African culture.
We’ll be hosting two dynamic networking sessions, where attendees can connect across industries, share knowledge, and exchange ideas.
Ubuntu emphasizes the interconnectedness and importance of community, fostering a sense of togetherness and collaboration.
Our virtual networking events offer numerous benefits such as:
- Expanding professional connections, in the UK and SA
- Knowledge sharing
- Exchanging ideas and business challenges
- Unlocking career opportunities
- Enhancing visibility
- Fostering a sense of emotional support and camaraderie
Our speaker this month is Lily de Klerk, CEO of the South African Business Council UAE (SABCO), who will take part in a Q&A session with our host. During this interactive discussion, Lily will share insights into how SABCO is fostering and strengthening trade and business relationships between South Africa and the UAE. She will also discuss her focus on growing the SABCO membership community, creating meaningful networking and collaboration opportunities, and supporting professionals, entrepreneurs, and businesses across the UAE.
Join us for this engaging session as we learn more about Lily’s passions, leadership journey, and the vision that drives her work in connecting and empowering the South African business community in the UAE.
