"Sit back and relax" Virtual Summer Drinks Evening
Join South African Chamber of Commerce members for a “Sit back and relax” Virtual Summer Drinks evening with a special Rugby themed focus. The event will start at 5.30pm (UK time) and begin with sampling a selection of choice South African wines and spirits. SA Chamber members Cellar Door Wines (Hertfordshire) and Perold Wines (Somerset), have put together some fantastic South African wine and spirits packages for the occasion. (Please order in time to allow for delivery!) From 7pm onwards, we'll stay on Zoom to share the experience of watching the British & Irish Lions take on the Cell C Sharks at Emirates Airlines Park in Johannesburg (you'll need to arrange your own access to Sky Sports). We assume most guests will be happy to watch the Rugby, but in case any aren't there will also be a room where you can watch a Nature Watch special on The Life of Slugs. As part of the warm up we'll be hearing from our special guest, Andre Snyman. All you need to do is buy your ticket, order some special summer drinks (optional) and decide on your Rugby outfit for the summer celebration. £3 from the price of every ticket bought will be donated to the Carmen Stevens Foundation, and will go towards feeding school children. The Foundation was featured recently in our Youth Day webinar. To feed a child a meal costs just 24p, so your donation will go a long way! Links will be sent out in the 24 hours prior to the event.
