As a family, we are passionate about empowering youth, especially focusing on the previously disadvantaged, and giving them belief that they are worthy and have a place in the formal economy that often precludes them. Unemployment in South Africa is currently at around 30%, and within the disadvantaged youth it is closer to 50%, so in conjunction with the Rockefeller Foundation and CareerBox, we are tackling this head on with a mission of impacting 100,000 people by 2020.
