Andrew Feinstein is a former ANC Member of Parliament in South Africa, a writer, campaigner and broadcaster. He is the author of “The Shadow World: Inside the Global Arms Trade” which reveals the corruption and malfeasance at the heart of the global arms business, both formal and illicit. A film of the book is currently being made by a New York production company. He was an Open Society Institute Fellow in 2010 and 2011, chairs the Friends of the Treatment Action Campaign, FoTAC, a UK based organisation campaigning for access to treatment for people living with HIV/Aids in South Africa and is a founding Director of Corruption Watch, an NGO using case studies of grand corruption to develop policy proposals to combat corrupt behaviour by corporations and governments. Andrew works extensively with investigators, prosecutors and investigative journalists around the world, including currently in the US, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Bosnia. He currently lives in London with his wife and two children. As always, the speaker address will be followed by delicious canapes and the finest South African wines.
