Calling all South Africans in London and surrounds! Join us as we celebrate South Africa’s culture and diversity with our fellow countrymen and enjoy the last days of summer with a lekker bring & braai.

Everyone is welcome! We have received permission to gather in Wimbledon park and braai together on Saturday, 24th September. The event is a bring & braai picnic. So bring along your braai packs, picnic baskets, snacks, drinks and anything else you think you’ll need for a day out in the park.

Please wear anything SOUTH AFRICAN 🙂

Disposable braai backs are available from the Savanna Southfields SA shop at 281 Wimbledon Park Road (not too far from the park, tel.:+44 208 780 3727) or from the Sainsbury’s across the road.

If you would like to host a stall, do face painting, sell food, provide entertainment or organise any other activities for the day, please email francinehigham@gmail.com and info@sadiaspora.org.uk with your request.

Please note that this event is taking place on public property and there may be other members of the public there who are not attending the event (“third parties”). The organisers accept no responsibility for and will not be liable for any damage, loss, costs or any claims and/or expenses arising out of or in connection with the conduct of any attendees of the event or third parties.
